Exciting opportunity to work on an innovative, new, state of the art, Acute Psychiatric Service (APS), located within the Emergency Department of  a major Boston area hospital. This new, 20- bed acute psychiatry unit caring for adult and pediatric behavioral patients; many with medical co-morbidities, will be a unique setting for nurses with a passion for psychiatric nursing to practice. This dedicated behavioral health unit will be a secure environment providing milieu therapy with a team approach including nurses, psychiatric providers, mental health workers, PCA’s, social workers and occupational therapists.
